Tom joined Xtiva in 1999 shortly after its formation and was initially responsible for overseeing both client development and client service as EVP, Sales & Business Development prior to becoming CEO. Before joining Xtiva in 1999, Tom co-founded Northeast Securities, Inc., an independent securities firm clearing and served as its President. Founded in 1989, Tom helped grow Northeast from a single office retail brokerage into a multi-line financial services firm serving both institutional and individual clients from several strategic office locations and over 200 Financial Advisors.

Believing that the financial services market was at the beginning of a technology enabled evolution he took the opportunity to get aboard and departed the brokerage industry for technology. With his experience building and running a wealth management firm, Tom brings an experienced and empathetic understanding of the challenges faced by Xtiva’s customers, a perspective infuses Xtiva today. A family man and friend at heart, Tom understands the importance of the relationships we build with our customers and is passionate about helping improve our clients’ business performance to achieve their goals.

Tom graduated from Hofstra University in 1987 with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in accounting. He and his family make their home not far from New York City, the home of his beloved Yankees and Jets.
